This message board has always been a free board, allowing individuals the ability to post immediate messages to the board without having them moderated first by an administrator. There also has never been a requirement to register first before posting ... you can come by, post a message, read some, and come and go as you please. This policy will of course always stay the same, but I also wanted to offer some additional message board benefits to those who would like to join the Message Board Gold Club. This message board has been around for a number of years, and we have steadily grown into an online community of individuals, all sharing an interest in this general topic. We also have a core group of individuals who have become regular contributors to the message board, and it is because of their participation that I wish to offer them additional benefits if they so choose. No one is required to become Gold Club Members, and all those who choose not to join can still post and read as normal. If you are interested in becoming a Gold Member, you will find a number of additional benefits to enhance your experience on this message board. And best of all ... it's FREE! It only costs a quick sign-up registration ... here are the benefits of being a Gold Club Member ...

1. Each Gold Club Member will be given a unique Code Key which will allow them to simply type in this Code Key when they wish to post a message, and their name and e-mail will automatically be entered on their posting ... this will skip them having to enter their name and e-mail address each time they wish to post a message.

2. Gold Club Members can sign up for the privilege to have each new post to the board automatically e-mailed to an e-mail address they choose, so they can read posts without visiting the message board ... you can get each message post in an e-mail as soon as they are posted! (You still must visit the board to post and reply to messages however). Members will always have the option of turning this feature on and off at will if they are getting too many e-mail posts.

3. Each Gold Club Member's posts to the board will be noted with their name in gold, designating them as a Gold Club Member

4. Gold Club Members are allowed to use HTML formatting tags in posting their messages to the board, which is not allowed for general posting, allowing members to use bold, italics, font sizes, coding links, etc (your knowledge of basic HTML is required if you wish to utilize this feature ... there may be a feature added in the future to make formatting easier)

5. Access to more statistical information about your postings to the board, and the ability to access your posts easily

6. And any future benefits!

Requirements/Reminders for Becoming a Gold Club Member:
* The administrator must approve your application for Gold Club Membership (decision will be based on past message board activity)
* Anybody that has ever been banned from the message board is not allowed membership
* You must have posted at least five times to the message board before applying for Gold Club membership to demonstrate your goodwill to the board (this is to avoid spammers and blocked individuals)
* The administrator reserves the right to reject any application and cancel a membership without notice if the member violates the rules of the message board
* I run a number of different message boards ... a Gold Club Membership in this board does not apply to all boards, you must register for each message board you wish to join (you can be Gold Club members in multiple boards)
