Oliver Stone was interviewed during his Cambodia trip (he also got an honorary degree and met the Prime Minister). In the interview he mentions there's no "2" in the the title of the new "Wall Street" flick (he calls it "Wall Street: Where Money Never Sleeps" but I don't know if that's a typo). He says that "it doesn't have any value as a sequel, except for those who remember (the original)". It sounds like they are really pressed to finish the film, so maybe that's why there's been no trailer, etc. They want to make sure they'll make the date first (my speculation, Stone doesn't say that). He also says the "Secret History" series covers back to 1900.
As for the seeming curiousity that he promotes peace yet his films are so violent, he says, "You can only get peace through violence. Peace comes, because you know what violence is. It's a Buddhist concept". He also talks about his past visits to Cambodia (starting as a teacher in 1965, so his visiting schools there now is appropriate).
As for the Oscars he says, "I don't give a shit" but acknowledges: "The films this year delivered".
